'Gay-free' prom idea backfires on supporters in Indiana town
Mon Feb 11, 2013
I think a gay free prom is fine, IF the school itself is a gay free school. Proms should be for all students or segment (such as year in school such as a Junior or a Senior) but not limited to the nuances of the student body.
Boy Scouts: We need more time for decision on gay membership
Wed Feb 6, 2013
I thought it odd many years ago when my brother told me that he had joined the Girl Scouts and could because there was not a Boy Scout troop available to join. We are talking 40 years ago or so. Evidently, this is not unheard of.
Boy Scouts on edge as they await decision on gays
Wed Feb 6, 2013
It will be interesting to watch this play out. If the BSA stand firm they will be ridiculed by the gay community and their supporters.

Pedophiles seek out organizations that they can join working with children. The organizations have a difficult time identifying some pedophiles as they do not always have a record as they have not been prosecuted yet.
Police search for child removed from cancer ward
Mon Dec 3, 2012
Joe, you obviously do not know hat you are taking about. The prognosis for children with lukemia is quite good, somewhere around 75% survival rate. (And that figure is old.) Saying that she is going to die anyway is like saying that any one of us is going to die, which is true at some time.

Toppled tree exposes skeletal remains, cement box in New Haven, Connecticut
Wed Oct 31, 2012
The article did not read "crime scene" it simply read "scene." Since it has been buried for maybe 100 years it would rule out Hoffa as he did not disappear until 1975. My guess is that since this was a burial ground that someone planted a tree over the coffin and when all the others were moved they …
Honda introduces car designed just for women
Fri Oct 26, 2012
I do not find it surprising that cars built for women in mind flop. The publishing industry has known this for years. Books written for girls will be read by girls only and books written for boys are read by both sexes.
Beard issue again delays military trial in Fort Hood shootings
Mon Oct 22, 2012
Personally, I think he should be allowed to keep his beard. If he is not allowed in court with it then convict him without him being present, it is HIS decision.
Abercrombie CEO wanted boxers, not briefs, on flight attendants, lawsuit says
Fri Oct 19, 2012
The article read that the flight attendants were "flight attendant-slash-models." Models rarely if ever have a choice of what they will wear. They either wear what they are told or they do not work.
